Deposit limits

Set a daily, weekly or monthly ceiling on the amount you can deposit. A lower limit applies as soon as you save it. Raising a limit or removing it takes effect only after a cooling-off period, so a decision made in the middle of a losing evening cannot be executed the same evening. Limits apply across the site, the mirror domains and the apps, because they all use the same account.

Reality checks

A reality check is a notice that appears at an interval you choose, for example every 30 or 60 minutes, showing how long the session has lasted and how much you have staked and won or lost in it. You can close it and continue or log out from the notice. It is on by default in the casino section and can be switched on for the sportsbook in the settings.

Time-outs and self-exclusion

A time-out blocks the account for a short period of your choosing, from a day to a few weeks. Self-exclusion is longer, from 6 months upward, and cannot be lifted early: the account stays closed for the whole period, marketing stops, and any request to reopen it is refused until the period has run. Both are requested from the account or by writing to support@your-domain, and an agent in live chat can apply them for you at any hour.

Signs to watch for

Betting more than you planned, returning to play to make up for a loss, hiding play from people close to you or borrowing to fund a deposit are all reasons to set a limit or take a time-out. Protecting minors
