Mostbet bet insurance: cover 1–100% of a stake
Mostbet bet insurance is a paid option in the coupon that protects any share of a real-money stake, from 1% to 100%, on singles and accumulators. You pick the percentage, we show the price, and if the bet loses the covered part of the stake returns to your balance automatically. The price moves with the odds, cover can be raised in steps after the bet is placed, and an insured bet cannot be cashed out or cancelled. It works alongside the other tools listed on our promotions page and applies to bets funded with real money only. 18+.

What bet insurance means at Mostbet
You place a bet, then decide how much of the stake you want back if it fails. The cover is a slider from 1% to 100%; every point has a price, calculated from the current odds of the selection or the combined odds of the accumulator. Pay the price, and the insured share of the stake becomes a refund that triggers on its own when the bet is settled as lost. Nothing is paid out on a win beyond the normal winnings, and the insurance fee is not returned.
Bet insurance covers both bet types we settle most often. On a single, the cover relates to one selection and one stake. On an accumulator, it relates to the whole coupon: if any leg fails, the bet is lost and the insured share of the total stake comes back, regardless of how many legs had already won. A 10-leg express that falls at the last selection is treated exactly like one that falls at the first.
The price is the honest part of the deal. Insuring a heavy favorite at odds 1.30 costs relatively little because it rarely loses; insuring a 6-leg accumulator at combined odds 40.0 costs a lot more, because losing is the likely outcome. The coupon shows the exact figure before you confirm, so the choice is always made with the number in front of you.
How to insure a bet, and adding cover later
The option appears in two places: in the coupon before you confirm a bet, and next to an open bet in My bets after it has been placed. Both work the same way. Move the cover to the share you want, read the price, confirm. Cover can be increased later in steps, for example from 30% to 60% once a match has started and the situation looks different, and each step is priced at the odds valid at that moment. Cover cannot be reduced or refunded once bought.
Insurance is available only while the event is open. Once a market is settled, or a live match has ended, the option disappears. Our live betting page covers how odds and availability shift during play, which is exactly what drives the insurance price up or down.
- Build the coupon with a single or an accumulator, funded from your real-money balance and without a promo code.
- Open the insurance control, choose the percentage of the stake to cover and note the price that appears beside it.
- Confirm the bet and the cover together, or add the cover afterward from My bets while the event is still open.
- If the bet loses, the insured share of the stake is credited back automatically; no request is needed.

Mostbet insurance compared with cashing out
They answer different questions. Cash out closes a bet now, at a price we offer, and ends your interest in the result. Insurance keeps the bet alive all the way to settlement while limiting how much of the stake is exposed. You cannot have both on one bet: once cover is bought, the cash-out button for that bet is gone, and a bet that has been cashed out cannot be insured. The details of early settlement are on our cash out page.
A practical way to choose: if you no longer believe in the bet, cash out. If you still believe in it but the stake is larger than you are comfortable losing, insure part of it. If the stake is already within your limits, do neither; every layer of protection has a cost.
Which bets cannot be insured
Four groups are excluded. Bets placed from bonus money, including the sport welcome bonus and refunds from the risk-free bet, because those funds have their own wagering rules. Bets placed with a promo code. Bets on events that are already settled or closed. And any bet that has already been cashed out. An insured bet also does not count toward wagering a bonus converted from loyalty coins, which follows the same 5× accumulator rule as the welcome offer. Our loyalty program page lists which bets do and do not count there.
If the option is missing from your coupon, check those four groups first. The next most common cause is timing: a live market suspended for a goal or a red card takes insurance offline together with the odds, and it returns when the market reopens.
Deciding how much to cover
Start from the stake, not from the odds. Ask what share of it you would regret losing, cover that share, and accept the fee as the cost of sleeping well through the match. Keep the stake itself inside your budget first; insurance reduces the size of a loss, it does not remove the possibility of one. Used that way, protection becomes a calm, occasional tool rather than a habit, which is how we intend Mostbet bet insurance.
18+. Real-money play involves the risk of loss and can become compulsive. Set a budget before you start, treat it as entertainment and stop when it stops being fun.
Questions players ask
How much of a stake can I insure at Mostbet?
Any share from 1% to 100%, on a single or an accumulator placed with real money. The price for the chosen share is displayed in the coupon before you confirm.
How is the insurance price calculated?
From the current odds of the bet. The price changes dynamically as odds move, so the same cover costs less on a short-priced favorite than on a long accumulator.
Can I cancel bet insurance after buying it?
No. Cover cannot be cancelled or reduced. It can only be increased in steps while the event is still open, and each increase is priced separately.
Can I cash out an insured bet?
No. Insurance and cash out exclude each other. Once cover is bought, the cash-out option for that bet is removed and the bet runs to settlement.
What happens if my insured bet loses?
The covered share of the stake is returned to your balance automatically after settlement. The insurance fee itself is not refunded.
Can I insure a bet placed with bonus money or a promo code?
No. Insurance applies only to real-money bets without a promo code. Bonus-funded bets and promo-code bets do not show the option.
